Our practice is pleased to announce our participation in the Greener Primary Care Scheme. This scheme, open to GP practices, pharmacies, dental practices, and opticians across Wales, aims to help reduce our carbon footprint and promote sustainability within our operations. By implementing various actions outlined in the scheme, we are working towards achieving a silver award by the scheme’s closure in October. Currently, we are ranked 6th in the leader table!
As part of our commitment to sustainability, we have already partnered with Terracycle and joined the Phillips Dental Recycling programme. Patients and members of the public can drop off their used dental products at our practice for recycling through Terracycle.
You can also contribute to sustainability efforts by considering eco-friendly transportation options like walking or cycling to the practice, bringing in your used dental products for recycling, scheduling family appointments to reduce trips, opting for sustainable dental products, and embracing a healthier lifestyle.

Drop off point
As part of this scheme we have partnered up with Terracycle and joined the Phillips Dental Recycling programme.
We are a drop off point for patients and members of the public for their used dental products to be collected and sent to Terracycle for recycling.
